Queensland Citizens draws to the attention of the House that a core part of a Barista's role aside from making coffee is talking to customers. Barista work hard trying to be friendly and welcoming to all patrons. These efforts should be recognised with a Barista's Choice award that the Barista's can bestow on the people who provide the most interesting conversations, promoting people to engage more actively with our hardworking baristas.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to allow the Parliamentary baristas to be able to bestow a Barista's Choice award for best banter each year.
