To the Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of
Queensland.

The petition of the undersigned citizens of Queensland draws to the
attention of the House the fact that the proposed Community Ambulance
Cover is inequitable when applied to electricity accounts in Queensland
as it requires all business premises to be levied in addition to private
residences, thereby forcing many citizens to pay the levy multiple times
whilst there are concessions for other sectors of the community.

Your petitioners therefore request the House to ensure any legislation
that is put in place is equitable whereby no single citizen or family
unit living in the same residence pays more than one levy.
