TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
The petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the
House the urgent need for the duplication of the rail line between Manly
and Cleveland so as not to restrict the number of services Queensland
Rail can run between these stations at any one time.
Your petitioners therefore request the House to address this area of need
to cater for large passenger numbers travelling with Queensland Rail on
the Cleveland line during peak periods.
