Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House that due to significant development of the Hope Island region,
traffic has increased, putting considerable strain on the Crescent Avenue / Broadwater Avenue intersection. This has
created a serious black spot which has caused considerable concern to both local residents and families attending the
local childcare centre Bonny Babes.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to take immediate action and provide right hand only turning lanes along
Broadwater Avenue, with reduced speed limits, until more funding is made available for a roundabout as a permanent
solution.
