Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the mandatory check-in app is currently being used across the state in communities where there is no COVID, never has been any COVID, and are unlikely to see any COVID. It is simply the greatest breach of public privacy that has ever existed in the state. It is time to either abolish the check in app or at the very least, to make it optional at the discretion of the individual user.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to remove the mandatory use of the Queensland check-in app immediately.
