draws to the attention of the House Gone are the days where you could get a three course lunch menu and a dessert for 70 cents. These are the words spoken by Brisbane women, Rebecca Franks, in an article from yahoo. news (Figure 1). This menu from 1975, shows how cheap all items were back in the days, and yes I know that there are such things in our world like inflation however in 49 years the prices of a sausage roll has increased 4344%. In 50 YEARS!!. thats 89% every single year. Thats far too much per year. And charging students and excessive amount of money is ridiculous as well as the fact that the Marbibyrnong College is trying to make a profit, especially given the canteen is run by a private business and they have other sources of profit such as external sales. This makes me think that Bocca Foods is a bit selfish in the way they charge for their products

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to We therefore ask the House to introduce policies about how much products can increase by per year, as 89% per year is far too much. I believe a limit on 40% per year would be fair on both sides. I still believe their could be further changes made but this is a good start
