The petition of the citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House that the Davidson Road Queensland Rail
crossing south of Tully is badly in need of warning lights for the safety of the wide variety of users that transgress the
crossing. Davidson Road is a major artery for road transport of produce and local residents that need adequate warning of an oncoming train. The installation of lights is a safety issue-that can’t be denied for this busy crossing.

Your petitioners therefore request the House to please advise what steps will be taken by Queensland Rail to ensure the
risk of a serious level crossing accident doesn't occur.
