TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

The petition of electors of the Division of Clayfield draws to the attention of the House the following requests in relation to the proposed Airport Link Project:

1. Filter the ventilation stacks (to less than 2.5 microns) and in terms of reference of the Environment Impact Study, include testing of less than 2.5 microns and their effects on the environment and public. Also detail the size/shape of the stacks and their proposed locations.
2. To move the cut and cover of Kalinga Park and Diggers Drive memorial trees and pathways at the East West Arterial so that no part of the Kalinga Park is change or reduced. The current proposal reduces Kalinga Park public access by approx 10%.
3. Property Values - The resumptions and tunneling in the vicinity of houses will possibly affect their structural integrity and values will be definitely reduced during and after construction has been completed. We request that a compensation plan (value and structural) is agreed and delivered to those ratepayers whose property(s) are in the vicinity of the tunnel.

Your petitioners therefore request the House to commit to the above and advise petitioners accordingly.
