This introductory half-day seminar is designed to give an overview of Queensland's parliamentary system of government. Topics covered include: The Structure and Functions of Queensland Parliament, Westminster in Queensland and the Parliamentary Program.

During this seminar, participants will have the opportunity to observe the Parliament at work and to participate in a session with a Member of Parliament about their role. A tour of the Parliament and its historical environs is included.

This session is designed for those who wish to know more about Queensland Parliament and is suitable for public servants, teachers and employees of community organisations.
